Breastfeeding Class
The World Health Organization and Academy of Pediatrics emphasize breastfeeding as
the best source of nutrition for babies. Breastfeeding has numerous beneficial qualities for
mothers as well. In order to get yourself off to a good start, these classes focus on proper
feeding techniques, how to know if the baby is getting enough milk, growth and
development of breast fed infants, and solutions to common challenges and practical tips
for success through the first six weeks.

Baby care/safety
Most new parents are very nervous about what to do with a new baby. Oh My Gosh!
Do I really have to pick up the baby!? What about his head?! Don't fret. This class with
cover the basics of caring for your newborn including bathing, diapering, swaddling,
soothing, circumcision, vaccine choice, and feeding the baby. Safety issues include safe
sleeping and correct use of a car seat.
